So, you want to download a podcast MP3 file and there’s no easy option? Welcome to the only tutorial you’ll need.

First, find the podcast episode you want to download. You must be on the web page specific to that episode. It can’t be the overall podcast page.

This should work on any podcast platform.

Finding the File

I’m going to download How The Rich Ate Christianity from Behind the Bastards from Overcast.

The first thing you need to do is inspect element.

MacOS: command + option + C

Windows: CTRL + Shift + I

This should get you on a page that looks like this.

Got it? Great!

Now, you need to find the mp3 file.

The easiest way is to use CTRL + F and type “mp3”
