Napoleon Bonaparte. One of the most influential men to have ever lived. He’s gone down in history with people like Alexander the Great and Julius Caesar.

Napoleon was a military genius. Everyone knows this. But, did you know he got bullied as a kid? He had a massive inferiority complex, he was a hopeless romantic pouring out his guts to women who couldn’t be bothered to return his letters. His life was actually really tragic in a lot of ways.

The only places he really belonged were on the battlefield, and on the throne as emperor yielding more political power than almost anyone else in history. He faced political devastation when his army failed to invade Russia, falling victim to that pesky Russian winter.

He was forced to abdicate and was sent to live in exile on some random island in the Mediterranean. The allies basically left him to die there. But little did they know, Napoleon still had a hell of a lot of fight left in him, and they would be seeing him again soon enough. Now, without any further adieu, the life of Napoleon Bonaparte.
