Review

The War of Art is a smooth read. Pressfield’s background in writing copy is on display here. He does a great job of getting to the point and still includes lots of detail.

This book does a great job of putting the struggle of creation into words. If you’ve ever felt defeated before you even start your creative journey, this book has the answers.

The War of Art may be the single most important book for artists in the 21st century. If you want to live up to your creative potential, read this book. Let it sink in. Embody the behavior Pressfield is pushing.

Every day when I sign onto the homepage of my organization app, I see a phrase from this book.

Fight Resistance and Go Pro.

These aren’t words to just put on posters and forget. These are words to live by. And I only hope that I can embody that phrase in my personal life.
